ACHE Regents Awards

Each year the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Regents have the opportunity to recognize outstanding healthcare executives. We are asking for nominations for an early careerist, and a senior-level healthcare executive. Individuals can be nominated by colleagues from throughout Northern & Western New York, based on the criteria presented below:

Early Career Healthcare Executive Award
Criteria used in assessing candidates includes:
· An affiliate of the American College of Healthcare Executives
· Demonstration of leadership ability
· Demonstration of innovative and creative management
· Executive capability in developing his/her organization and promoting its growth and stature in the community
· Participation in local or state hospital and health association activities
· Participation in civic/community activities and projects
· Demonstration of participation in ACHE activities and interest in assisting ACHE in achieving objectives

Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Award
Criteria used in assessing candidates includes:
· A Fellow of ACHE
· A CEO, COO or other senior level executive within the organization
· Demonstration of innovative and creative management
· Executive capability in developing his/her organization and promoting its growth and stature in the community
· Contributions to the development of Others in the healthcare profession
· Demonstration of leadership in local or state hospital and health association activities
· Participation in civic/community activities and projects
· Demonstration of participation in ACHE activities and interest in assistant ACHE in achieving its objectives

· Contact information of submitter
· Nominee’s name (and age for early careerist)
· Nominees healthcare organization & current position
· Nominee’s ACHE membership status
· Statement of qualifications for the award

Individuals submitting nominations are asked to restrict letters of nomination to two pages or less, and provide sufficient background information for the decision-making body to understand the rationale for the nomination. The awards will be presented at the HANYS Annual Conference in Saratoga Springs on June 27, 2018.
